Hagg Wood in Holmfirth, Yorkshire is a reserve managed by the Woodland Trust on the edge of the Peak District. This body of work presents a series of very different colour narratives based on sketches, photographs and video taken on walks in 2016 and 2019. They also reference recent research on trees and how the relate and communicate with each other.

Tree Songs (November 2022) are a series of moving image works in bright colour, about my experience of walks with the dawn chorus and late afternoon. Inspired by the work of Stanley Brakhage and Adam Scovell.

‘Water Reflections’ is an experimental ‘globally warmed’ work using iPad video footage and exploring what I can do with different compression Codecs on lower resolution video.
