'Shingle Song' is a body of illustrated poetry and experimental video work that is currently being developed. It is expected to be finished for publication for the 'Shingle' exhibition, following a further 10 day stay in Shingle Street in March 2023.

The project interlinks thoughts and styles across different media: gelliplate, etching and drypoint printmaking, video and audio and sketching with tools found on Shingle Street beach. These inform and build on my own poetry about diverse experiences in Shingle Street.

Silt-split-snaking

Crack-clawing Mud.

Pool-puddling

Unseen-seeping

Flood.

Silver-shimmering

Sky.
